A Serene Glimpse is an animation that tells a story of an innocent 8 years old girl who follow a mysterious owl into an Afterlife journey to find her lost grandma. The story was inspired by The Divine Comedy, a long Italian narrative poem by Dante Alighieri, and presented it with a new interpretation by using metaphors of the three stages of life; adolescent, adulthood, and old adulthood. The animation aims to portray an afterlife belief as an emotional coping mechanism to help teens cope with despair.
