Driven by Thailand's economic conditions and political unrest in Myanmar, Thailand has continuously attracted Myanmar migrant workers each year. In 2023, at least 10% of these workers were employed as domestic workers in Thai households. However, they spend the first 1 to 2 years learning Thai on their own through the environment and various media without being able to communicate in Thai in their daily lives because the most effective learning paths are only accessible to other groups of workers who are not employed in domestic work.

The Myanmar migrant workers are considered crucial pillars of many industries and are also part of many families in Thailand. Their existence is not at all distant, so I would like to invite everyone to get to know each and every one of these migrant workers. This is to understand their learning paths and to recognize the importance of accessible learning centers. Read about their journeys at https://thailanguagelearningjourneys.com/
