Animation that will introduce you to the culture that bonds the Chinese family “Ching Ming”

Ching Ming festival is an annual event held by Chinese families to visit family graves together as a whole family. Each part of the festival serves as a moment for memorial and a connection between each member of the family, both past and present. Because of the changes in lifestyle and thought in each generation of people, Ching Ming has become a less significant festival. I have designed an animation aimed at creating a deeper connection between Ching Ming and the audience, especially the younger generations. The animation's point is to illustrate each element of the festival and emphasize how Ching Ming’s  importance is bringing families closer together, as family connection is at the core of Ching Ming.
