As toxic masculinity has become a social debate on Thai Twitter, the term ”Chai Trae“ (ชายแทร่) has been used to criticise men. This is because the word does not refer to gender or physical appearance. It refers to bad attitudes and behaviours that are expressed through facial expressions, body language, and speech.

Cultural factors may influence the emergence of toxic masculinity in Thai society. Because toxic masculinity behaviour comes from many factors, including old norms, indoctrination, upbringing, and education, This can have a huge impact on society as an individual. Thai standards and education systems do not teach enough about this. 

An online campaign aims to teach toxic men that what they've done is wrong and needs to be fixed. To promote a more comprehensive understanding of what it means to be a good man. so as not to cause any negative effects to others This campaign is the perfect space for sharing and discussion. Through modern teaching methods That is not a scolding, but a suggestion.

To empower youth to recognize and learn from harmful behaviors related to toxic masculinity. To promote compassion, respect and good conduct towards others.
