In Thailand, we are taught to follow the rules and are not encouraged to think for ourselves which leads to an identity crisis in people because there are no opportunities for them to explore or even try to express their identities. Teenagers do not know who they are or what they want to do in the future. This is why having identities is important.

Threadscape aims to help create a safe and fun space for them to be able to try expressing themselves, using crochet as a tool because crafting and identity crafting are both creative processes that result in personal and unique outcomes. This way, they can have fun exploring who they are and sharing their colourful self to the world.
