Humanity has been fascinated by what lies beyond the atmosphere since the very first civilization. Over ten thousand years of human history, monumental efforts have been made to comprehend the vast mysteries of the cosmos. Each endeavour has built upon past achievements, forming the significant branch of knowledge known as ‘cosmology.’ Thus, our centuries-long quest to unravel the secrets of the universe certainly is an inspiring journey worthy of celebration.
"Visions of Infinity" is an interactive exhibition that invites the audience to look into the captivating story of cosmology and the parallel development of visualisation methods. Represented with four monoliths, the exhibition unfolds through four distinct epochs of cosmological discovery and understanding. Each offers its own set of interaction that allows the audience to explore and commemorate the important steps that have brought humanity closer to comprehending the universe.
